Private messages with nothing to seize.
No phone number. No email. No account to hand over. Your keys stay on your device, and nobody, us included, can read your messages or see who you talk to.

Android
This test version isn't in Google Play yet, so Android may ask you to allow installs from your browser.
Windows
Windows SmartScreen may show a warning because the installer is new. Click "More info" and then "Run anyway" to proceed.
Linux
.deb (Ubuntu, Debian) .AppImage
The .deb installs on Ubuntu, Debian and Mint. The AppImage runs on most other distributions: make it executable, then open it.
iPhone and Mac: coming soon. Until then, use KaspaChat in your browser.
Nothing to hand over
Your account is a 24-word recovery phrase on your device. There's no phone number, no email and no contact list on our servers, so there's nothing to request, leak or switch off.
Who talks to whom stays private
Messages travel on the Kaspa network under one-time tags only the recipient can recognise. Every message is the same size, and the network fee is paid by a shared treasury, so your wallet never appears next to your messages.
Built for the long run
Encryption is post-quantum from the first message and heals itself after a compromise. Messages disappear 30 hours after they arrive, on every device in the chat.
Plans
Free
0 KAS
- A private code name like
@kv7f3q9x - 10 welcome messages
- Top up from 20 KAS: about 3,500 messages
- Messages disappear after 30 hours
Pro
100 KAS a month
- Choose your name, like
@bob-123 - Up to ~17,000 one-to-one messages a month at today's Kaspa fees
- Turn the disappearing timer off in chats where everyone is Pro
Fee measured 14 October 2026. A message to a full four-person group counts as three, so a month of only group messages covers up to ~5,900. Unused credits are swept out every month at the time of replenishment. Every payment is split on-chain by a contract with no keys: 75% to the message treasury, 25% to Kaspaguy.
KAS only
KaspaChat takes KAS and nothing else. To swap another coin into KAS, use an independent service and send the KAS to your own wallet:
Questions
Can you read my messages?
No. Messages are encrypted on your device with keys that never leave it. We run no server that could open them.
Can you see who I talk to?
No. Recipients are never on the blockchain, and messages sent through our relay don't carry your wallet either. Our relay sees the network address a message is sent from, and keeps no record of it.
What if I lose my phone?
Restore with your 24-word recovery phrase on any device: your name and your credits come back. Keep the phrase offline; nobody, including us, can recover it for you.
Why do messages disappear?
After 30 hours your app deletes the message and the keys that opened it, on every device in the chat. Anyone can still copy or photograph a message before then.
Do messages disappear from my screen too?
Yes, from yours as well as theirs. Each device deletes its own copy 30 hours after the message reached it, so a message you send leaves your screen 30 hours after you sent it. If someone was offline, their copy arrived later and stays a little longer. The only exception is a chat where everyone is on Pro and everyone has agreed to keep messages: then nothing disappears for anyone.
What happens to my name if I stop paying?
A Pro name stays yours for 30 days after it expires. After that, the next person who pays for it gets it. Free code names never expire.
Is KaspaChat open source?
Yes, everything KaspaChat ships today: the apps (web, Android, Windows, Linux), the relay, the indexer, the Kaspaveil protocol with its test vectors and the contracts are open source under AGPL-3.0 at github.com/kaspaguy/kaspachat, with release hashes so you can check a build matches the code. The v2 zero-knowledge sender pool is in verification on Kaspa testnet-10; its code is not published yet.
